With regards to the St Aubins concrete path I reckon the difference is really noticeable in recent years, perhaps as little as 6 or 7. I have fished out at St Aubins a lot, not caught that much (probably because I am the worlds worst fisherman) but around 6/7 years ago we would drive across at a certain time before the low. It would guarantee as much futile fishing as possible. In the last couple of years though, we have been unable to cross at those times because about half way across it is still covered, the last time me and a mate tried it we had to check our tide tables thinking we had messed up the times. And we had, we forgot about the latest reclamations and didnt take into account how it might affect our route.
