Two people i honestly hope do not get a knighthood are the bailiff and walker.

Just a comment that since I wrote last, Guernsey's Bailiff now has a knighthood.

Any guesses as to when ("when" I think rather than "if"), Michael Birt will get one?

a) Christmas honours
b) Queen's Birthday Honours
c) Later than that.

I'd plump for (a), but it may depend on how far he indicates support or otherwise for former Bailliff Philip Bailhache's drive to independence.
