So Senator bailhache wants a referendum on the dual role of the Bailiff.
I ask myself just what does he thinks he will get out of this?  He is all for keeping the dual role, so why ask for a referendum with the chance that the people will vote for getting the bailiff out of the States?
There again if bailhache has anything to do with it then there would only be one outcome.  The Bailiff would stay in the state's chamber.
No wonder lewis lied when his mentor is proved on so many occasions that he bailhache who has lied. Remember the airplane and documents?
It is a wonder that lewis has not used the same answer as bailhache time and time again i.e. I do not recall that. I have noticed that many people use that saying as an excuse when they have a position of power and being caught out for lying.
So come on what is bailhache thinking about a referendum.
