Sounds like it would be worth a punt!

Having had a weekend of almost aircraft free, I have greatly appreciated the quiet and stillness that we have been so lucky to have today. Perhaps we could save a few million and close the airport

A better question would be, how much has the closure of UK and European airspace cost the Airport so far?

You shouldn't feel sorry for them Shiva, they've milked us for every penny - they even did the same to the Army Air Corps when we needed to land a couple of choppers a few years ago - it was for humanitarian purposes but they still squeezed us dry... now they're gonna be out of action for a few days - big deal!

this must be the first time in my life that, i have looked up to the  skies and found them ,vapour trail free.
i find it quite amusing that the talks of resuming flying go on .
this volcanic activity , could go on for a while, and get worse.
the power of nature, could not care less for balance sheets.
