Direct flights to Majorca this year!
« on: April 19, 2009, 12:15:12 PM »
"Islanders in Jersey will have an opportunity to fly direct to Majorca this summer.

CI Travel Group have announced a series of weekly flights to Palma, starting in July.

The service will be operated by Flybe. The flying time is two hours, 45 minutes".

This sounds good!

I spent six months working in Mallorca one can say it is a beautiful island
The locals are friendly and there is lots to see. Since the problems with lagerlouts in Magaluf the authorities have cleaned the place up and tourism has gone upmarket
Best to get way from the maiin tourist areas though. Cala D'or. Puerto Pollensa etc - Hiring a car is even better
Pity about the euro as this makes if expensive ( Just ask Ozouf and the States Treasury ! )
