correct me if i am wrong,  but cannot the  current bailif use his vote  in the states ?
 if so when did this last happen?

I think the bailiff lost his casting vote when they started ministerial government

i did wonder why i had never seen the  the bailiff use his vote .
 would love to know who spoilt the paper , like maggie thatcher capping red ken (glc) i hope mr ozouf is capped .
 close vote , if no spoilt paper and the baliff still having a vote  it could of been  a tied vote , of which i have not seen either

Anyone who voted for Ozouf, has voted for form over substance, for triviality over a business attitude. I am disgusted. Without knowing the who ,i suspect the usual cuprits for making the States a playground instead of a serious venue.
