JEP- is it worth buying ?
« on: July 09, 2008, 12:02:19 AM »
Headlines in the JEP tonight had a very heavy article showing in words and pictures the Bellozane incinerator chimmney, under repair. The day before our states vote on a new massive £106 million pound plant, which could be sited in the wrong place. Stuart Syvret is critical of the JEPs love of the establishment, and patronising articles, I thought he was probably over the top, now I think I see where he is coming from "!!!

I only ever read the letters but according to ITJ they are all written by the JEP editorial department.

Its been quite an interesting experiment/toy. Loads of viewers but no comments/replies.

Maybe its just the Jersey way, perhaps I have to keep it online for twelve years before it is accepted . ;D

The JEP is out by 10.30am it seems ?? so a big story happening that morning will not be reported. How does this affect the value of a newspaper when its reporting yesterdays news ? I suppose adverts are on the street a few hours earlier ?

I think they started printing it earlier out of desperation to sell more, by having it in shops for lunchtime.  Even so, they are selling fewer than ever.
