It’s a great life , but it does not have to be easy, I have told this on many occasions by my family. Why should Government, greedy monopoly businesses and ( some ) civil servants make it harder, its hard enough already.
Life in Jersey was but just a few years ago absolutely wonderful. Parking was easy, taxes were reasonable and if you were poor or rich everyone shared in the fabulous place that Jersey was and could be again.
I rarely give out any personal details, and there are many types of bullying, but I was, until one day, when another serious attack was iminent, rather than cover up as usual I fought back like a wild animal about to lose its life. On that occasion it was not me that got hurt. I also learned a very big lesson, if you let them they will. I am sure many of you will relate.
So how far are we going to allow Jersey and our quality of life to fall, before we say enough is enough.
The truth is, it is not up to a small band of people who are holding office or title employed by the majority. Yes they have their jobs to do and some are honest, reliable and hardworking. Others just have their snouts in the trough.
It is up to the 90,000 residents of Jersey to take personal responsibility. The truth is you will anyway, as you have fought battles in the past, the day will eventually come.
Will it be when GST is at 20%, will it be when buying a return air ticket costs £300. Will it be when anyone earning more than £20,000 receives a States loan to pay 50% of the hospital bill should they need an operation. You make up the next line if you wish because as sure as hell they are thinking up more ways to take your money away.
Make your mind up today to be proactive, think about the people wasting your money which affects the quality of your life and must stop.
How?................................ I have plenty of legal ideas but lets hear yours.

FURIOUS Jersey Gas customers claim they are being cheated after being forced to pay five per cent GST on bills dating back to March.
An estimated 600 customers have been charged the higher rate on their entire last quarter bill – even though the tax only increased ten days agohttp://www.thisisjersey.com/2011/06/10/anger-over-jersey-gas-gst-overcharge/
