Makes you wonder if there is some hidden agenda going on.  Showing remorse merely means you can act.  This is grossly unfair and does send out the wrong messages.

Yet to hear of one who got clean away showing remorse and handing themselves in.

This is felt even more in a place with no room to expand such as our small island of Jersey.
