CTV doing the 'untold damage to Jersey's international image' in this one. Still can't figure why those sort of comments are relevant today.

I don't see why this has done any damage, where is the evidence of that?

Amazing as it all unfurls, looks like the tails been wagging the dog at the cop shop, Wendy copped it one way, Lenny another and now uncle Graham, maybe he set himself up to get chucked out so he could get a nice big fat paycheck (thankyouverymuchh!) - [Voce Basso a la plod] when the AG an all the big'uns get stroppy with him. " No case to answer m'lud - suggest compensation of er er er wot about half a million squid that should cover it eh??"

Agreed. There's no hard evidence at all. But it is a very subtle form of patriotism aimed at appealing to a more conservative audience - hey so maybe it will work!

Get the feeling this is going to be a long day?

Graham Power has today gone on record stating that he was offered redundancy by Home Affairs and has decided not to take it and will fight to clear his name and that of the investigation.

Depends how big the cheque is - every man has his price!

What's interesting is that they offered him it. Then when he said no they suspended him. Funny how the whole 'suspension' thing works at the highest levels aint it?

CTV's "Breaking News" spin headline reads "There is no evidence of murder...".

This has been the case all along, it is NOT breaking news.

They must have been given exact instructions on what to report, just like good little monkeys. Have another peanut chimps!

It's starting to look like Wendy Kinnard's resignation was connected to all this rather than some disagreement over a legal technicality.

Did she refuse to ask for Power's resignation, and offered her's instead?

Can Sarah or Sean explain why it is OK to suspend a Police chief officer and not to suspend other civil servants who are under investigation :-\  Hopefully they'll know more about the procedures than we do
