You should take a look at the latest article (30th June) on Jersey Politics with Free Speech which I just happened to notice. It relates to Norton's appearance on BBC Radio Jersey last week when he attempted to excuse the latest shocking rise in the residential population by arguing that half of the population who don't work (including pensioners) are being supported by the other half who do. There are about 30 comments on Norton, which include "fat dwarf", "idiot", "an arsehole in a chamber of arseholes", "total waste", "dick" and - my own favourite - "he has little man syndrome". Good for a chuckle, if nothing else:

It is worth pointing out that many of today's pensioners were contributing to their own future social security pension entitlement long before freeloader Norton had ever heard of Jersey.

... and it's not over yet!

1) 4th July - Always taking a special interest in the island's youth*:

* He retweeted this photo. It is not clear whether he actually attended this event in person but his ministerial remit includes the Jersey Archive (which has apparently suffered a 35% drop in staff since about the time he took over!).

2) 9th & 10th July - really tough gig in London at an annual ministerial junket called 'Jersey Day'. If you've ever wondered why the UK Govt never seems to want to investigate abuses by the Jersey Govt, these photos may get you a little nearer the truth:

3) 12th to 14th July - what better way to remember the suffering and near-starvation of Jersey people during the Occupation then to go to Bad Wurzach, Germany and have 3 days of top quality feasting! And you had how many relatives living in Jersey during 1940-45 Murray?

4) 16th July - All good things must come to an end - back home to his latest missus and a chance to show off his expensive wide angle camera to his followers:

5) 20th July - Summertime and the living is easy... A Barbie on the beach with two fellow Govt loyalists. Only one of them is an ex-con. They're probably discussing whether Income Support claimants deserve a benefit rise next year:
