I think he should at least follow his promise of standing again with the others.  Even at the last elections, you could hardly say the JDA candidate against him was exactly a threat.

Maybe he has back stepped because he has found out that he probably would not get the job as CM???

I never thought he would make a good CM.

I think all pension schemes are in the red, cause of the economy and the markets,, not exactly TLS fault, having said that, if our government could gamble our money as did the lucky 'Hedge fund managers' who made £24m on the credit crunch, maybe we would be sitting in the black, but he can't so we're not. Its because his a civil servant and has nooo imagination, which you are encouraged to have.

JEP  tonight.

THE Island is facing an unprecedented crisis of confidence in leadership, warns the man who considered running for Chief Minister.

Which leadership Confidence is Simon Crowcroft talking about ?

The Ministry of secrets, not sharing information with other elected members and giving us all suprise new laws. The Waterfront Enterprise Board, The planning Department ( now telling people which colour to paint their houses ) The TTS department out of control wasting £1.2 Million on a farce at Bel Royal. The New leaders of the police force verses the old leaders, and its not table tennis !!

The 37 question's Stuart Syvret is asking the new police leaders to answer.

Our Treasury and Economic Ministers advising us, Jersey will avoid the worst of the recession. The Jersey Hospitals appalling waiting list for public operations, ( not private patients though).  The confusing resignation of a minister for home affairs. The Howard League for penal reform, that says Jerseys youth Justice system, is rubbish and needs reform.

So are the elected leaders of this fair Island doing a sterling Job?

It looks as though Constable Crowcroft may just have a point.
