'Keeping Jersey Special'

Incentives and penalties, that's what Jersey's Chief Minister is proposing to make islanders greener.

Senator Frank Walker last night revealed his vision for a greener island, with a States initiative called 'Keeping Jersey Special'.

The aim is to cut carbon emissions at least sixty percent by 2050.

This includes eventually bringing in a carbon weighted energy tax.

And you lot say he doesn't care!

The first initiative should be to get rid of Freddie Cohen.

The £300,000 that the spin doctors are paid at the chief ministers office are starting to bare fruit. You may have noticed, and actualy, Im sort of chilled about the crap  I read in the JEP put out by them, don't bother goes over my head, but this bugged me. The good news is the emergency services ( sorry its him again Guy de Fay ) reporting in the JEP tonight, states the emergency services are now happy with reconstruction at the end of victoria avenue after testing all there vehicles, Jesus a pink pig has just landed in my lounge. No its true.

fRANK like many states members look after thier own interests and those of thier friends. But i dont blame them. We the people of jersey have let this happen. We are sleepwalking into a dictatorship government because we dont vote , we dont support new candidates and maybe we dont really want change. The coming elections will tell us if we are just an island of complainers or we have the balls to actually do something.
cheers all.    ALVIN.

Frank is off though Alvin and I like others am weary of hearing the same talk about "we need a change of Government" without being given any proper dialogue to go with it.

I think most of these wannabe do-gooders are just looking for a job.

If that's the case we can weed them out at the meeting i intend to call ,to see if there is any real serious candidates amongst the new faces. If they are serious about changing the face of jersey government than we will see.
CHEERS ALVIN.
