Glad to see that in this time of hardship the States still have excess money to spend on some nice granite walls  on the extension to the prison.Unbeleivably this new granite facade is only meters behind a steel fence with barbed wire on top
Who approves the budjet and design  for these things?Yet more money wasted on an unnecessary project.

I heard their was a riot up there last week.
A couple of the clients kicked off about their atrocious living conditions.
They upturned a couple of snooker tables, smashed a 52" Plasma telly, ripped the cables out of a sky+box and pissed in the Jacuzzi!!!

Today I collected a dear friend who was incarcerated for 3 months because Bridget Shaw simply didn't believe her.  Trust me, there are people in there who should not be. But it keeps the industry going, the lawyers get the fees, the courts get the  fines, hey DIC is an easy catch.   They can knock on your door hours after you have left the pub and charge you with DIC despite driving home sober, happened to a friend of mine.

There are people in prison who need psychiatric treatment, not locking up.  Jersey prison is Dickensian.
