I don't normally follow football and admit to not knowing how the offside rule works, the noise and shouting etc puts me off the great game, however this story really baffled me. I cannot believe that a footballer broke down in tears after being called a black b*st**d by someone in row 26!!. Surely he is man enough to ignore such ignorant comments and get on with the game, not stop the game for 3 minutes. It would be like a stand up comedian dealing with a heckler and storming off when said heckler says 'Fcuk off yr crap'. Was Tom Adeyemi playing the racist card, oh, please, was it the word black or the noun used upset him.
