Non - independent States statistics department.
« on: December 09, 2011, 02:22:52 PM »

Why was such expense incurred for a census, when you have three departments handling- schools - children, social security - workers contributions, pensions and benefits and the tax department - working and non working wealthy retired. The lists for Mr Kirch’s Xmas bonus for the retired offers even more information for pensioners not fitting or known by social security  profiles.

If they are carrying out proper accounting, these departments computers can churn out maybe not all the figures put forward by the census but certainly major accurate figures regarding employed and other relative economic figures.

Is the statistics department just another States spin machine ? And  like the recent hospital strategy manager who resigned, really a nice but not needed expensive extravagance for a spend and tax small island that is on a slow slide down to a big black hole.

That would probably be too easy, and cost effective.

Far better to create more work, and pay for themselves.
