I did not claim to have any proof about anything. The thread header is a question. (For the hard of thinking, the clue is in the big question mark in the title).

We just wanted a reply!  No need to be caustic!

Durendal you said

I am no lover of so called citizen's media as facts are not checked unlike the mainstream media.

In this case the Advocate commutes on his bike as he has to serve the full term of his ban.

However

I am not particularly bothered if Advocate Michael Leigh Preston is driving his car or bike it is nothing at all personal. The common purpose of this thread is the question, as an advocate is he getting special treatment thereby puting him above the sentence of thirty months ban handed down ?

Your point is well made about citizens media finger pointing without basis or fact the problem is that unless there is clear proof which there of course should be or at least another parties proof ie newspaper, hansard or a report, we have to be very carefull what to believe. For instance you tell us

"   Some basic work and none of this conspiracy theory guff would suffice but I believe I am asking too much "

Does your statement constitute absolute proof rather like the face book statement that started the story, I think not.

However I have decided to go with your version,

Trust is a wonderful thing  :)
