It is laughable, considering this was some kind of major civil emergency training - in a 4 star hotel!
Do the U.S. Marines train in hotels? Somehow I think not. These being the people who actually carry out major disaster relief operations all round the globe, for real, and successfully.
In any real full-scale emergency, these soft pampered civil-servants would be the last people you would want in control.

If there was a real life emergency they would be all bunkered up wherever civil servants get bunkered up! Leaving the likes of us open to the elements and any possible danger.
Like something out of 'Spooks' it really is a laugh.

Why couldn,t they have used the Town Hall?
Do they keep rooms booked at the Radisson 365 days a year just in case a real situation occurs(Wouldn,t surprise me).
