Censorship of Facebook/Youtube

They must be really concerned about all the stuff on Facebook and Youtube to take this sort of action - but it does seem a bit extreme.

Next thing, access to these and blogsites site like Planet Jersey will be forbidden in the workplace - in fact, I bet that already staff are being instructed not to visit sites like these.

I think you will find that a few firms already stop their staff from using facebook.

Yep they banned it at work about 4 months ago, along with many forums. This one falls in the trap !

At my company ,we are not even allowed access to the WWW.,unless your own job requires it Also rules on what we can send to each other through intranet.Think this is normal practice ,and to be fair ,you are there to work and not browse the net .
Do all civil servants with a pc have access to the net ?Just curious
