Members may not be aware that PlanetJersey has been growing steadily  for the last few  months under new off island IT expert management and new owners.

Site statistics tell,  that there are  average page views per day of  5,711.10 and PJ is attracting substantially more page hits than 2010 over 1.2 million in the first six months of 2011. Thousands of visitors from several countries are using this site for archive and local information every day.

Other privately owned Blogs offer excellent research and reporting, but are very different in that PJ has an open door policy and invites any person to debate any subject as long as reasonable rules are followed.

The membership is growing slowly again after a period of decline and a  new heading  for the election candidates will be going up shortly so members can express their views and share their Knowledge on candidates  seeking  your vote in the coming election.

In reply to a question asked by several members using  PM  ( private messages ) the member known as Spartacus, that I tried to ban, but did not do so very well, has indeed been banned.

Admin decided to take it a step further and actually removed his account completely based on a history of vicious personal attacks on several members. The subject is now closed.
