Taxpayers hard earned money being handed out by the Jersey Employment Board and others is big news, with GST going up tomorrow and the amount you can spend off island before paying tax is I believe dropping from £400 to £250 pounds.  So where is all this money going? I had a quick glance at a States members website and was pleased to see questions which are very pertinent coming up shortly, and there should be more from other states members.

Worth a look.

Did the Senators say we all had to tighten our belts? Doesn’t seem that way for some

I tried to get answers on this subject from the chief Minister some months ago. That I could not was all hung on that lovely old Establishment Party excuse ‘confidentiality’. Somehow I don’t think that will wash very much longer. And remember, it was only a few weeks ago that my continued questioning drew out the fact that another six former employees also shared more than £255,000.00  between them outside of contract entitlements. Why?
