Is Jersey another word for corruption ?

The puzzle start's to make sense. What has rezoning large chunks of Jerseys green zone land, Chief of police Graham Power, David Minty, Deputy Labey, Terry Le Main, several other players, and a man who pieces it all together Stuart Syvret got in common ?

Fact or fiction you decide, I know who I will be voting for.  One of my main reasons for writing on PJ is because I have seen our island raped by developers. The Waterfront, Portlet the countryside small houses in St Ouens Bay becoming mansions. A slow moving carpet of concrete in places it should never have been seen.

Brand new from the vile blog.

All quotes are selective please read full article.

As soon as the door was closed and she was alone with Philip Bailhache – “he threw across the desk” at her, “a copy of one of her e-mails to Graham Power, and demanded that she explain her actions in making the complaint, and demanded that she write a letter of ‘apology’ to Graham Power ‘for having “misled” him with her e-mails’”.

The actions of Philip Bailhache were unlawful in many respects. Not only was he in breach of the Data Protection Law – he was also breaking Article 47 of the States of Jersey Law – by attempting to intimidate and harass a States member.

Shocked, intimidated and very upset at these events, Deputy Labey – with reluctance – wrote an e-mail to Mr. Power, but not one of ‘apology’; instead it, essentially, just informed him that the meeting had occurred, and what had been said to her.

Mr. Power, by this stage, was on leave in the United Kingdom for a few days. No doubt – once preliminary investigations, and the work of the Controller and Auditor General had been completed, the Police Chief would have then ensured a full investigation did take place.

However – he was unable to see that this happened.

At 8.44 a.m on the morning of Saturday the 8th November – William Bailhache wrote the first draft of the letter of suspension that was to be served on Graham Power – without warning – by Bill Ogley and Andrew Lewis - on the morning of the 12th November 2008.

You just couldn't make it up could you! I might be able to after a few guinesses with The Razzard, The Spartometer may be able to get a few bits like this in But all in all it just beggars belief!

Who the hell voted Carolyn Labey in for god's sake??

New definition to be considered by Webster's : "the Phil and Bill show" = "The Jersey way". Ahhhhh! Just how it should be eh?

It really is great getting older , the ears go, the eyes go , at first glance I read " He threw her across the desk" stepping back in amazement I re-read it and was bitterly dosapointed , just another trite and crappy posting form Batty Buoy which asked the readers to make up their own minds without telling us what we should be making their minds up about!
I think my version is better.

Have just read the whole post on the "vile" blog and whilst I certainly could not and would not say whether true or not (possible libel curtailed!) all I can say is it would not surprise me in the least as I am a firm believer that a position in the states is akin to a, do whatever the rose you rosing like as long as the paupers don't figure it out and if they do then rose 'em anyway.

I love the rose word, thanks Sparticus!

Even though the Spartans never made it much past Thermopylae (http://www.spiked-online.com/index.php?/site/article/3012/),
I think our very own self proclaimed King of Scotland has had a bit of an excursion to the Arena Madre in Barcelona (http://www.patroc.com/barcelona/clubs.html). Her the "rose song" is frequently played (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YbV-N65pJY), no doubt enjoying the FC camp Nou in search of World cup entries. This is where the familiar order by dodgy Rhotic accents are made of "Bitterly dosapinted" whilst angling in the clubs, holding their tackle and hoping for better pole shotting! (https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/stonfo-dosapiombo-pole-float-shotter-p-420.html).

You couldn't make it up could you?

How's the communting?

Whilst on the subject of not having a cluedo , what about that Unite Union breaching all of Jersey law by having another full page Ad for the (Reasons which cannot be discussed in public) ex teacher!! Breach of spending limits or what!!
I think I should write a song to this Union >>>>
We are Unite
 A load of Shite
And even if we lose we say hooray !
We dont care , or give a damn
so long as we can just Rose up BA.

ok its not shakespeare but this particular Union are the biggest bunch of (in my opinion )Pansys that the UK has had to deal with Scargills ,,,,,ooooops retired miners.
what the hell is going on ? Deputy who will still be a deputy when he loses abusing priviledge once again , not grannie vote fiddling this time , but perhaps appealling to the younger 16 year old voter , is this not what he got sacked from education in the first place?
I do beg the question , what the hell is this man doing in the States?

It has to be Syvret, who else would be so um honest,

He Says,

And by way of contrast, we have a colossally expensive, top-heavy and bloated senior civil service – the major players in which are incompetent, unaccountable, frequently corrupt, unsackable yet unemployable, often criminal and generally crap.

So crap – that notwithstanding numerous well-evidenced and very serious examples of gross professional misconduct and other malfeasances by the senior managers within Health and Social Services – rather than them being sacked – and replaced with professionals actually capable of doing the job – we’re about to spend another vast fortune of tax-payers money employing another layer of Health mangers – to do the job of the existing crap managers – whilst those crap managers sit around doing nothing – because they’re too crap to be in charge of a first aid box. A crap first aid box, at that.

So.

Of course you all disagree, put the kettle on, and wait for all the new taxes to arrive, to pay for the new managers oh yes, lets all forget the holiday this year, can't afford it, States taken all our money, still,  any one for a biscuit ?
