Graeme Jenkins - Senatorial Candidate
« on: May 18, 2010, 01:37:47 PM »
One half of PJ's membership / readership will be delighted to learn that Graeme Jenkins in no fan of Stuart Syvret.

This from his Facebook status update  - "Oh Dear... Stuart ...Same old Grandstander... Same old sweeping UNTRUTHFUL generalisations... Me Thinks Misplaced Pride before a Fall... Nothing new from him..Still in the Politican Widerness AFTER 20 years. Poor soul... if he had any honour he would admit he cant do the job.THE TIME IS NOW.TRUST JENKINS FOR SENATOR ON 16TH JUNE 2010.GO FORTH AND SPREAD THE WORD.THANK YOU.I'M LISTENING ...

I was fortunate enough to observe this candidate at the Town Hall last night at what a veritable feast of facial expressions he has at his disposal! Frown's, clenched jaws, sharp intakes of breath, mouth open in amazement, rolling of eyes - he really could have a career in mime should he fail to secure a seat.

Jersey's answer to Marcel Marceau? http://www.iu.edu/~ocmhp/2006/03-10/images/MARCEAU_marcel.jpg

Still I suppose he could still get elected and continue with another career, so many of them do, and perhaps saying nothing in the chamber might suit him well - it seemingly works for so many others.

Note to Jenkins – your Facebook page is wide open mate. Dangerous!

Maybe when he learns to vote with his folder he can use that Marceau "shrug" of 'Je ne sais pourquoi!'

Sparticus, I have noted on a couple of your postings when people will supposedly or not be giving up their day job and how you could take over their previous employment on a few hours per week.

I am not taking the mick out of you for that but it does make wonder what sort of highly intelligent, workaholics we must have in the states that they can not only run their states seat which I would hazzard a guess requires long hours of total commitment and then, my word I have to hand it to them they can still find enough hours in the day/week/month/year to carry out their personal business interests. No wonder they got where they are with such a selfless committal to not only serving the public, their employers but also their employees in their various business ventures.

It makes me wonder (sorry to use that phrase again) which position they put first, employee or employer. Of course, being a cynic I could take a guess that they see themselves as employer in both positions, or should I just be blunt and say boss!

Once again the Jenkins is spitting bullets on facebook. Gosh this chap really does mean business! Check this out, he says;

Good Evening My T.H.I.F.T. Task Force. Having witnessed the stage managed LECTURE at the S.S. show yesterday, all I can say on the subject is: The Time is Now to rid the States of JERSEY of the first of many egocentric fantisists that have bullied, through Fear and misplaced Anger, my Island's Political Arena for too long.Spread the word and consider putting your TRUST in JENKINS FOR SENATOR-16th. June 2010.Thank you

So my question to him would be; "Please can you give me your complete list of egocentric fantasist bullies and I will accordingly tell you if you have my vote?"

Errr....no Shaun, trust me, I have absolutely zero intention of pulling your plonker - as you so call it. Some things are best left to Madam Palm and her five lovely daughters. But for the avoidance of doubt let me tell you that 'The Jenkins' and I have mutual facebook friends so status updates are only a click away.

Nah Razzy - he got it all wrong because a) he can't spell very well and b) what he really meant was 'now is the time to get rid of the States of Jersey - all egocentric fantasists etc.etc.

What's all this poo poo about HIS Island? His Facebook page seems to suggest he was born elsewhere, as indeed I was, and would not presume to call it MY Island!

No vote from me Mr J

Banning you would be childish, it is quite comforting to have a chat to you and try to understand where you are coming from,.I sometimes think you are coming from a failed marriage between Chevalier Blank and Calimachon.
At least i think you are funny .
