Silveranus Yates

Slowley the Contables are stepping out of the shadows of a lo-fi past and into the bright redolent light of our digital society.

Silveranus Yates has, I believe, followed in the footsteps of the almighty Crowcroft and started his own blog for the good people of St. Martin.

http://nursemyra.wordpress.com/2009/06/18/he-of-the-silver-anus/

And not content with mere tomfoolery he has seemingly chosen to market a new and limited edition set of gifts in his image.

Make sure you click on 'limited edition' button when you land on the homepage!

I've heard of Silver-tongued Constables, but this one literally takes the biscuit!

Fabulous post , er i think , could you perhaps explain the point of it , or were you just bored in need of seeing your name in lights at the time?
I think you , dylan , need some therapy , I can totally understand why Bratty Buoy no longer posts here . Your asinine one liners would be great if they were at all funny , but......they really have not been remotely funny  for quite a few months now, when did
you stop being funny mate? Is there something wrong?
Razzy , you know the bloke , get him checked out!

Fabulous post , er i think , could you perhaps explain the point of it , or were you just bored in need of seeing your name in lights at the time?

I can't explain the point as such only the background to it and yes your'e quite right, I was very bored and feeling all the more creative for having downed the best part of two bottles of claret the previous evening. It goes along the lines of this;

I was dreaming that I was working in a top London advertising agency designing a political election campaign for Silvanus Yates (very very odd I admit and I have no idea why). Whilst engaged in the 'mind shower' it struck me that it would be important for him to have a catchy tag line so like all vacuous marekting and media tossers I decided to try and convince the electorate that he had a silver anus. This part is easier to explain as I have a mate who actually makes real sliver anus's cast from retums of famous porn stars. In my dream I was then presenting story boards to a captivated focus group of St. Martin's residents and it all went down swimmingly well. Then I woke up and the dream was still with me and quite vivid. I reached over to the laptop, logged on to planet jersey and to my amazement it was actually working. So I logged on and wrote that post.

My counsellor tells me I'm making good progress. I guess she's right  ???

Like I said before, if my one liners are asinine, your comments are still ass-in-one!

All right girls, final warning.

Stay on topic and stop bickering or you will both go bye-byes.

Solomon, I would like to know why it is acceptable for Spartacus (when) as a mod to tinker with people's postings?

Spartacus isn't a Mod and hasn't been for quite some time. Which postings are you alleging to have been altered?

Let me first put it like this, when as a mod he used the power to change postings, alter the figure of how many contribs people had made and at the same time jacked his own up. Big deal, but a meddler is a meddler, he also changed wordings, several times I posted comments on threads being "chippy choppy'd about". This may have gone away but fair playing field, you need to look into it. I suggest you make sure he has not still got the access key.

That is total bollix , ask your mate the moderator to check the number of postings i have made . He can confirm the number
, since he can review them all. He can probably also confirm that the mods cannot change the number of postings people make . That is in "history" or if he can then I was not made aware of how to do it.
So your facts are wrong , no big surprise there . When you get something right I am willing to be amazed.

Dylan,

Spartacus is correct in that a Mod cannot change posting history. A Mod can delete or change posts or move them to another thread. There are no "access keys" a user profile is set up as a Mod and removed when that Mod resigns.

I repeat, Spartacus does not have Moderator privileges and, even when he did, he could not have done the things you are accusing him of.

like you say , check your life mate , what utter trivia! what complete and utter asinine comment. Paranoia springs to mind , check up Dylan , from the neck up, would probably be enlightening. I will expect your apology in due course.
Is it remotely relevant as to who has done the most posts? I do apologise if I have been posting too often , I did offer to step aside this morning for seven days , but then you decided to attack my integrity as a moderator which is ,honestly not correct. Besides which , I had my fingers crossed !
Please ask ol, crazy who is now a moderator if I could have done this. Please discuss with ol, crazy exactly how delightful a job  being moderator is . I retired ,quite simply because I was bored sh1tless with absurd contributors like yourself , who offer nothing but irrelevant or irreverent contributions instead of making any kind of a stand or stating any kind of an opinion.
Regarding Shornski , who asks if I ever called him a "banker" the answer is possibly yes but probably no , after a trillion posts it is hard to remember who exactly I have insulted , but since I believe in freedom of speech I am more than happy to accept criticism from others , provided of course , they are not thick, tree hugging , liberal lefties , and in Durandels case , readers of the Guardian, or  nondescript morons living on welfare .
I think Dylan , you may have reached an impasse in your life "real" which is causing you to demonstrate violent emotional outbursts , have you recently given up smoking? Otherwise have your hemorrhoids checked out , it worked for me!
