You can hear the headline on BBC Radio Jersey at the moment but an independant report due out today has condemned the behaviour of Syvret in using his blog to bully people.

Yo Bench! - did I read a post of yours recently saying that you thought it pointless going on about SSS all the time - if so bro - why did you start another thread on him? - you got any issues you'd like to share with us?  ;D

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/jersey/8382359.stm

Senator Stuart Syvret bullied and harassed States employees, an independent UK investigator has said.

Employment judge Christopher Chapman said he was visibly taken aback by the abusiveness of some of Mr Syvret's postings on his internet blog.

The States Employment Board, which ordered the report, should have done more to stop his behaviour, Mr Chapman concluded.

Mr Syvret refused to comment to BBC Jersey about the report's findings.

The independent report was commissioned in May following several complaints to the board about the blog.

In it Mr Syvret had used terms like dishonest, incompetent and criminal to describe civil servants.

"What he is not allowed to do is to use the language that he does and to keep making allegations unsubstantiated by evidence"
Christopher Chapman

The language went beyond the legitimate expression of concern by a politician, and into a misuse of power, said Mr Chapman.
People named on the blog have had trouble sleeping and maintaining normal family life and their children had been bullied as a result of allegations made, the report said.
But the employment board was also at fault for not doing more to stop the allegations, it added.

Mr Chapman said the blog had raised some valid points.

"I made it clear in my report that a States senator he's entitled, if not obliged, to raise issues of public concern.

"He has done that and there are a number of issues in which he writes in very moderate language.

"But what he is not allowed to do is to use the language that he does and to keep making allegations unsubstantiated by evidence; that goes beyond free speech."

Wanted by police

Mr Syvret refused to meet Mr Chapman as part of the investigation, but did email a response which is contained in the report.

In it he claimed that Mr Chapman was intimidating and threatening him.

He wrote: "You think - do you - that a UK bureaucrat such as yourself has the right to interfere with the democratic will of the 15,000 people who voted for me, by being a party to an unlawful act of harassment, intimidation - and "bullying" - against me?"

The report also made six recommendations, which Jersey's Chief Minister said the employment board would adopt.

Senator Terry Le Sueur said he had asked the body in charge of standards of politicians' behaviour to consider taking action against Mr Syvret.

Mr Syvret is wanted by island police for failing to appear in court to face motoring and data protection charges.

Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming said Mr Syvret was staying at his London flat while seeking asylum in the UK on legal grounds.

The senator said he left Jersey as he felt he would not get a fair trial.

Ole Razzy I hardly ever read his blog because its mumbling.  The over riding fact is that he does not have any evidence and if he did he would not waste time in ranting on a blog, Judge Chapman has made that clear.  Yes I said I was sick of talking about him but it is Mr Sorda that has been plastering posts about him on here 24/7 and this report on top of his police arrest warrant makes me wonder why Mr Boatyboy and Mr Sorda think he is doing the best for the Island?

I think the most telling part is the refusal to recognise he is not above the law.

In the UK he would have been suspended from both his party and the House if he was not to co-operate with a properly formulated inquiry.

Once again puts himself above the law - sad really he could have been a contender.

Why has a report that was done on the 26th of September taken 2 months to come out if it is that important.

Hey newmac - your back!

Your question got me thinking. I reckon its taken so long because somebody has to read it, print it off, give it to another person, who puts it in an envelope and gives it another person who sends its via internal mail to somebody else who is on holiday, then when they get back they read it, put it in an envelope, give it another person and so it goes on until eventually, after weeks of meetings, somebody somewhere within the machine makes a final decision and says - "yeah, f*ck it, lets give it to the comms unit and see what they say!". And so it goes on - costing fortunes.

Anyone care to discuss facts?
Fact 1 , Syvret is a knob.
Fact 2 , Syvret does not have any facts.
Fact 3 , knob in question has done a runner.
Fact 4 , Who gives a flying Rose?
Fact 5 , the dying swan was an important act to illustrate that true love cannot survive
Fact 6 , the dying twit ,=Shyvrashite will be homeless , jobless , and without a single credible base within 6 months.
fact7 , the prick will turn up back in Jersey before the deadline which automatically bins him as an employee, I sincerely hope that the relevant letters have been sent to him , pointing out , that he is absent from office, is not doing a job, and that further absence will result in his immediate dismissal.
Fact 8, he is an absconded criminal.
Fact 9 , Even Jerseys' most assinine advocates will give him a wide berth (Batty Buoy, please note spelling)
Fact 10 , he can afford legal opinion, why beg?
Fact 11, He does not even have a lovely bunch of coconuts to hang his cap on.

Feel free to add to the facts ,please do not add appologist shite to make up for the lack of evidentiallity.

Where is this all going?

The States will evict the demented SSS.

And the Island will have got next to no where on improving the lives of those that are in care, or are heading that way.

So the ones most needing of help presently and in the future will be the ones that suffer.

What has SSS really achieved ? from where I see it a lot of sadness and no improvement. As the Chief Minister says "put up or shut up"
