Spartan Ethics? Does this equate to:

The true Hellenic manifestation of the paiderastic passion, which institutions were alleged to have existed in early Crete and Sparta.
"Life gives to all the choice. You can satisfy yourself with mediocrity if you wish. You can be common, ordinary, dull, colorless, or you can channel your life so that it will be clean, vibrant, progressive, useful, colorful, rich". Spencer W. Kimball (Calimachon is not a Mormon nor is she in any shape or form religious but she thinks this applies to all humans and more so to a Humanist!  :)

Razzy, If you were to place all those establishments, together with the banks and their inter-mediaries 'West of Albert' on the reclaimed land the whole area could be aptly renamed 'Gotham City'.

I like it very much but being a bit of a rennaisance man and in my newly appointed role I think I'd get all biblical on your white asses and go for Nineveh - the original city of sin! Or, in cab driver parlance - the 13th Parish (unlucky for some).

We could compromise here,,,, Nirvana ,,,, there ,,,,it satisfies about every known prejudice and conceit but still cocks a hoody snoot at the establishment, who , lets face it , would not understand a thing ,what a jape, a laugh, kids curled up on liberation square as the bayleaf opens Nirvana Square.
If nancy spongeon was not already dead she would be first in line ,in my book, to cut the red tape. Must stop eating that worm.
