Yo crappaud. Give the butler Alfred Pennyworth a call. He'll tell ya the location of the secret entrance.

Some dude told me that Stuart Syvret walked there from St. Brelades also. But he did it at high tide!

WOLF'S CAVES.

Quite correct Shaun

Wolf was meant to be smuggler nothing to do with wild canines at all.

The path down from the old pub is unsafe at present there were plans to repair but probably now too costly unless they introduce a labour scheme like the 1980s which incidentally gave us the majority of the paths in the way they now are.

I thought a smuggler was a "Fraudiere" as in Cave es fraudieres" and Bai es Fraudieres" (interestingly feminine!) - St B of course.

It was meant to be his nickname GB!

Sorry D but I do agree with you that any Labour Scheme introduced in the 1980's, and indeed since, has both proved too costly, unsafe and has put us on the path which we are on now!  :D

Shame they didnt include the path to the caves when updating the rest of the walks. Perhaps the dozen continuous offenders as recently noted in the JEP could be put to work making it safe again.
