For example, down on the Inner Road, by the playing fields next to St Matthew's Church. There's often traffic parked on the west-bound side of the road, but so long as there are no buses or lorries coming the other way there is still room for traffic to move in both directions. But you always get someone who just sits there, completely ignorant of the fact that they have more than sufficient room to carry on, but they won't.

Maybe they are just being considerate?

Maybe they are just being considerate?

To whom? They have space to keep going without forcing the oncoming traffic to stop, and they're holding up the traffic behind them. No one benefits.

I hate being stuck behind some idiot who doesn,t realise that most main roads are wide enough for two lanes of traffic to continue moving whilst passing parked cars.
