The Gay rights activists shouldn't associate their behaviour (consenting or otherwise) with animals - it gives bad press!

I had a thought looking through the url you left to visit.  What would you call a King Penguin who discovered he was homosexual?

I don't know who the Mod is you are referring to is and I dare not hazard a guess!  Just what are you inferring?

Gay animals should be afforded the same rights and privileges as straight ones.

This whole story is a disgrace.

As it happens, there's 2 sets of animals up at Durrell that are conducting what would be classed as a homosexual relationship.   It's always been kept under wraps due to the predictable outrage it would cause in the states.  The spin doctors at the zoo released the story right around the time that Tadier was caught asleep on the toilet while annihilated in the states building.  It seems to have slipped under most people's radar.  Thankfully.

We all know that Private Gidley was blown to smithereens at Compass Hill, since then there have been a plethora of unsuitable eulogies.

Some of my favourite names for gay species include; the wood turtle, largehead anole, garter snake, box crab, grape borer and the three spined sticky back. But then again I find that my stupid sense of humour goes down best with my mates son who is 11.  :-\

The irony is that Gerald Durrell was far from PC.  There's quite a few myths about him, he was for the most part a wealthy eccentric who liked to collect animals.

You used to be able to give the apes fags to smoke at Jersey Zoo.  Everyone thought it was hilarious at the time, including all of the staff.

Jambo was allegedly hooked on the weed , held a kid in his cage till the parents threw 20 Ben and harries at him.It was hailed as animal kindness. He was well pissed off when they did,nt give him a box of matches.
