Lieve, please take no notice of that sad persons reply to you, one Spartucus, or whatever he chooses to call himself.    The only way he seems to get anyone to take notice of him is by insulting a poster it obviously gives him some sort of pleasure.    How sad is that?    He obviously lives a very shallow life lives in a world of fantasy and make believe.     Far better to honest and decent than be a sad lonely idiot who has only a computor for friendship.

It is indeed a sad reflection of insensivity to kick someone when they are down but you will find the way back up one day.

It would be wonderful if we could keep on discussion on most threads but as soon as we get into the thread someone, can't imagine who, can you, posts a lot of personal garbage and we get side-tracked down the road of personality trashing.  I am reading his posts for the time being, but not answering them in order to try and fathom his method.  I just get the feeling he is suffering from either ADHD or KRAFT disease with a strong desire for attention and when ever anyone else shows any threat of maybe having a following he comes along and trashes them.

First off , I do not trash anyone in particular, I trash opinions of people I do not agree with.I will admit to having an antipathy for illiterate posters, especially those who use BLOCK CAPITALS and or !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
If you cannot make an argument without resorting to visual aids then you may be better off saying nothing.
You will also note that I do not post on subjects that I know nothing about but I do read them and occasionally comment such as "well done " or "well said"
With regard to the Belgian individuals , I do of course feel sorry for them but they chose to come here without first establishing a clear understanding of what coming here entails.If I was in a position to do so I would offer at least one of them a job, but since I am not in that position, I cannot.At any rate my previous comments were made without detailed knowledge of their current situation and I will apologise for that.I will not however apologise for refuting their opinions, they are entitled to them as I am entitled to mine.
There are a number of quite deranged posters on here as there are on most sites.I like to think that I offer a balance to the hard core lunacy of our left wing posters, with my anarchic right wing responses and if all that does is stimulate comment that is fine, unfortunately there are those who appear to rejoice in the cult of personality as opposed to the voice of reason or even reasonable argument.
Most of the posters here have fairly entrenched views be they right or left wing, so are not likely to change their minds by dint of reasonable argument.It is therefore sometimes necessary to bludgeon people with satire or humour .That is what happens on chat sites. You stick your head above the parapet and someone blows it off.Let us not forget that there is at least one site you can go to where everyone shares the same opinion, if all you require is for other people to echo your own viewpoint then you should go visit , I am sure you will be warmly embraced and you will not have to suffer controversial argument.

For the benefit of those who question my background, I am happily married , three children two of whom are now working ,I have a lovely house, zero mortgage , am semi retired but with a lucrative position still in Finance.
Those of you with any memory at all will have noticed that in my postings I have attacked the failings of the Treasury. I have attacked the Council of Ministers, I have attacked the JEC, the Waterfront, etcetc.I have attacked individual politicians from all areas of society, I have even praised Ozouf , Something I thought I would never do , for taking up the cudgels in this recession.
I believe in the rule of law, several laws I dislike but I still obey them.I expect our representatives to obey them even more than I do.
So If I am currently engaging in attacks on the criminal three , that is the reason. I suspect there will be something new to discuss and argue over before too long and look forward to getting involved.So have your say , tell me your opinion and I will tell you mine and if I believe your opinion is based on self serving interest I will let you know.What I will probably not do is accuse you of being a sad old git with ADDS, with zero life and only a computer for a friend.I am pretty well covered in all departments. He seems to be a one very unhappy individual who gets some pleasure from insulting people without even knowing nothing about them. He opens his gob,( you really cannot call it a mouth with what comes out of it ) just to put you down where he thinks you should be. Loves to boast about how well he is doing just to make you feel small. I feel sorry for you Lieve, a well educated woman and mother that cannot get a job. My Politics are very different to yours Spartacus but I'm with you here. I come on to PJ for informed debate. That means reading the views of others and "debating" the pros and cons of what they have said. If we all agreed with what you, Lieve, Moot or White Knight said it would be an extremely boring and useless forum. I know I come to this site with my hard set views about issues but am open enough to read what someone has said and sometimes (well rarely  ) have agreed with them and changed my view. I would say that the overall balance on PJ is opposite to that of the States Assembly so it might be interesting to know how the minority right wing (I hate labels but this is easiest in this instance) on here cope with the frustrations of having to deal with the majority who, in their view, is spouting a load of rubbish. A better understanding of the frustrations of the left-leaning Politicians States Members might come of this!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sorry Spartacus the !!!!!!! were just to annoy you  )

Anyway; thanks to everyone who does post, what every your beliefs or situation; because its the posts and arguments that make PJ what is it.
