Jimmy did you really say that to SS
« on: March 11, 2009, 03:01:38 PM »
Tell the honest truth did you whisper those words as reported in to syvrets ear? If not then please tell us what you did say if anything.

I hope it is untrue but my god if it is then you truly are everything that SS says you are.

Imacrappaud - I don't think you will get an honest answer to your question!! Pigs and flying and all that.

However, the more I think of the innocent people he could have upset with his (alleged) remarks, the more incensed I have become. Stuart Syvret probably took them with the contempt they deserved, but I am not happy, and have sent an e-mail to the CM.

I will await his reply, and Jimbo's apology to people like you and I. Pigs and flying again!

However whether or not there is a response/outcome I will keep you posted although being physic I can see what it will be already!

Well Gee Gee, like i said previous i would never have taken offense, untill i put it into context. My old man topped himself many years ago and you know when it comes to the mums and dads jokes i can always hold my own but for a person in power to say this is a disgrace. I am glad you pointed it out because i will admit it wouldnt normally have bothered me, life is tough you know, but once you pointed it out it showed me that not everyone is thick skinned and not everyone will put up with that.

You know, I hate racist comments and bigotry and i never put comments like what he may have said into the right context, I would normally laugh it off. Now I am beginning to think differently and not only differently I am really beginning to hope for harm upon him so he might understand rather than just simply empathise, no sympathise as that is probably all he can muster.

My god the more I write and think about it the more disgust i have, i hope he said those things otherwise i am thinking the worst of someone who might be a decent guy, but i doubt it.

jim perchard should be made to step down.
This farmer must not be allowed to keep his seat. It is about time someone in office has the balls to stand up and sort this mob (that perchard is part of ) out  now.
WHAT A DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A MAN HE IS.

Well if he said it that is. Does anyone know if the microphones picked up anything? Anyone else nearby hear the comments or see behaviour which suggests he was whispering in Stuart's ear?

Poor poor SSS what an unsubstantiated allegation not that SSS would ever make libellous comments

Mind JP could always use the defence of justification

Imacrappaud-As before I doubt JP will ever admit to this, but I doubt also that SS would have made this up either. As per my previous post I did e-mail the CM last evening and got an immediate response to say that he shared my concerns and was looking into the matter, so fair play to him. I hope he sees this through.

My precious son took his life 5 years ago and it is nearly the anniversary of his death, so this has incensed me very, very much, and I am glad you are able to empathise. This subject aside, JP made comment about people with mental illness in his rant to the JEP, and because of the position he holds in the States he SHOULD resign or publicly apologise.

It is just not acceptable.

Picking up on the theme of being upfront with people in Senator Perchard’s recent JEP letter about cyber-bullying, I emailed him last week with the following opening paragraph....

“It has reached my ears that you have been criticising me for undermining the health service with reports I have placed on my website. Would it be possible for us to meet so that you can share your concerns directly with me?”

About which Senator Perchard replied

“I must correct your assertion that I have criticised you, I state unequivocally that I have not criticised you (why would I, as I am not aware of your views on any subject?) Also, I have not ever visited your website, in fact I am unaware that you have one.”

About which I replied

“Thank you for your prompt response. I note that you have not criticised me. My sources I rate as very reliable, and there must have been some misunderstanding.”

I  post this because Senator Perchard is a public figure who holds a position of considerable authority within the island and his probity is therefore a matter of public concern.

Presumably, if SSS is correct then there will be someone of proving this - otherwise you'd expect Perchard to take SSS to court over this.
Something has to give, surely!?

If Jimmy whispered something into St SS of the downtrodden's ear , then thats where it showed have stayed.
For Stuart to stand up and ask the Bailiff for help is slightly ludicrous, given his ravings about JP's bullying comments.
Anyway , I can assure you that at least 45 people in the house will have fully agreed with Jimmy.
I do not think the bit about SS  topping himself was very clever , I can understand that JP was incensed and perhaps need to apologize for going over the top. The first parts of Jimmy's comment , if reported correctly , I agree with fully.

You have an interesting view on how things should be done.

Children wouldn't get away with it, people in a meeting at my work wouldn't get away with it - why should the elected people who represent us get away with acting in this way?

I personally would rather, if they're confident and competent enough, they just got on with their jobs in a respectful, grown-up and proper way.

Get away with what exactly ? whispering in someones ear is not a crime in so far as I am aware.
I hear foul mouthed abuse all over , at every bus stop or taxi rank , at every congregation of the "youf" ,on every doorstep and every watering hole in town. Whispering is preferable to repeating loudly in front of the cameras, but I suppose this is what we can expect from a man who is so self obsessed and  who has only one intention and that is (in my humble opinion) to bring down the Government of Jersey.Oh whooppeee , I hear you say , well I hope you and your families can manage on the dole, that is if the UK government is kind enough to extend the right to dole to Jersey.

Calm down, you sound like a maniac  ;D

If these grown ups cannot conduct themselves like adults, and not like youths, or people in pubs, then they shouldn't be in the position they're in, should they. . . ?

If you're correct and SSS trying to bring down the states, then he managed to wind up a weak minded Jimmy P and cause him to play right into his hands. Either way, Jimmy has made a right mug of himself and clearly isn't very bright.

In your very humble opinion of course.
And Stuart in my view has shown himself to be a coward who goes running to the man he allegedly detests  for whom he has no regard and wishes to have removed from the house,at the first hint of a threat to him .In my even more humble opinion , of course.

He's just used whatever resources are available to him, by right, to defend himself in this given situation.

Far brighter than offering a glib but cutting riposte.
