In the past 2 weeks around St. Helier,
ive noticed the removal of many Green/Blue Public EuroBins?
People are now dumping their rubbish where they were located,
this is attracting Gulls to make a mess with the black bags,
Iv'e never seen so many Television sets, microwaves, and flat contents
flytipped around place as of recently along with the supermarket trollys
obviously used to convey the trash.
Where are the litter bins that used to be fixed to lamposts!
Whats Going On with this parish?

Leaving Euro bins around has had the rather unpleasant effect of meaning that they must be emptied. If only people could get it into their thick heads that the bins are there to show how eco/loving/carbon neutral/tree hugging friendly we are and are not , repeat not there for you or any of your chavie mates to dump rubbish in!! Besides which it became a bit pointless when they found that all the seperated glass
/paper,plastic , was all ending up in the same place!
Seagulls need to be discouraged from their antics around the metropolis. To this end I would recommend that our well armed police force should be allowed target practice with air pistols to remove the menace. This practice would come in very handy in times of civil disorder and would surely prevent the disgraceful headlines of last year when a child ,, yes an innocent liddlle teensy weensy little baby had it icecream stolen by a seagull with sociopathic tendencies .These monsters must be culled! the Chavs I mean not the seagulls.

Caveman

You must have bloody big seagulls where you live mate. I've never seen a seagull fly off with a discarded television set or a microwave and flat contents for that matter. Maybe they are lavishly furnishing their nests in the hope that they can trade up when the property market recovers.

We used to have problems at First Tower until I started throwing chips on The Avenue during rush hour.

Seagull and Chav numbers have been kept in check.

Fritz,

by this I take that the chavs went for the chips and the seagulls got run over when they were picking at the bodies?

I have friends living down at Harve des Pas. They showed me a letter which stated that two large wheelie Bins would be removed because......................................they were filled to overflowing and creating a health hazard.

Lets work this out very carefully members.

Add one or even two more because there is a demand.

Empty them more often.

See its not that difficult, or have I got this wrong ?

They are gone by the way,

"The bins were full, so we took them away"

Perhaps, someone needs to point out that the idea is to bring them back again, after emptying them!
