No need to lose anything. Make the plan fit the budget then undercut every moving part of it till it bleeds. - Henry Ford.

Ozouf made a classic comment earlier this week when asked to comment about Sarah Ferguson's concern regarding the £64 million 2008 budget overspent :
You couldn't make it up. Here goes :

"Forecasts are effected by the States spending decisions"

Got to be the quote of the week !

And post of the week so far. As world cup winner Ossie Ardiles once said to me when on a winter break with Spurs in 1984 after taking a training session at Springfiled before our game against Les Quennevais (I shit you not - Irving Scholar the then Chairman of the club was partial to a Jersey excursion in the six months leading up the club being the first to float on the stock market) "Bloody good played in the sunshine, now go afta it, play like you disco!".

Ozouf's answer "States spending decisions" must go down has the biggest clown answer that any States member could have said!!!!
I stated the other day about his father and brains. Well Ozouf just proved it!!!!!
What bloody idiot would give that kind of answer, i wonder if he ever thinks back on what he says or does anyone tell him the stuff that comes out of his mouth is stupid!!!! BRAINLESS!!!!!!!!!! God forbid he is the treasury.
