Anyone see Jeremy Macon's full interview on channelonline.tv?

He looked a bumbling fool trying to basically bullshit his way out of the questions.

The guy's not even in yet and he already looks like the next Guy de Faye.

Mind you I suppose the question could be asked, is it really that bad taking advice from his mother? Good old Frank has been telling his brown noses what to do in the States for the last three years and look where that has got us!!

Perhaps a few more of our States members could do with listening to Nellie Macon!

He'll collect £130,000 for being that naive over the next three years. I'm thrilled...

Any comment I make on any blog is always made under my own name. Unlike many other people on these sites, I do not hide behind anonymity.

However, Voiceforchildren appears to be a sound, unbiased person - thank you for your comments.

Nellie, do you not think that you should have really stood instead of your son?  The way I look at it, it is like me borrowing my Father's CV to get a job.

Are you saying that all parents and children would behave the same in politics due to inherited genes or something?  Explain Adolf Hitler then.

Nellie, I think reading your posts on here, you have spoken some good common sence. Jeremy has studied politics to a gain a degree, so its suggests a more than switched on politically interested family.

Regarding politicians writing and becoming involved with PJ, is an interesting one.

In my opinion, Sean Power had a pretty open way, and also a couple of aggressive opponents. He floored Frank Walker on here, by releasing two e-mails which warned of the Harcourt court problems.

Sarah Ferguson, thought to be hoffty toffty, got a  "bit of stick"  but proved her toughness, and I suggest, turned around many critics by engaging, and not being afraid to fight her corner. Caroline Labey maybe doing excellent work, but on here could not hold her own, and ended by telling us we do not appreciate the hard work she puts in. A dummy for a xmas present maybe, to make up for the one she lost.

The point is Nellie, I personally have a much deeper respect for those elected that have spoken on here. I may not or ever agree on some issues, however, I would rather they go into battle on my behalf because they are tough, more open, and therefore more representative as they are not scared to engage.

Jeremy should not be put off PJ, in fact it may even boost his career. Most elected to the house read this, however are probably to scared to offer their views, which may inform us better. What does that tell you ?

If this is true then why does he need his mother to help him?  It doesn't add up does it?

In any case a degree in politics does not mean they will be a good politician!
