« on: November 25, 2008, 04:15:32 PM »
A bit of sport. Who do you think will win tomorrow? Copy your version in below. For a full list of candidates, see http://www.bbc.co.uk/jersey/content/articles/2008/11/05/deputy08_candidates_feature.shtml.

Here's who I think will be elected (which is not the same thing as who I would vote for):

SB1 Angela Jeune
SB2 Sean Power, Montfort Tadier
SC Gerard Baudains, Ian Gorst
SJ Phil Rondel
SL Hugh Gill, John Le Fondre
SM Bob Hill
SH1 Paul Le Claire, Judy Martin, Trevor Pitman
SH2 Rod Bryans, Shona Pitman, Geoff Southern
SH3 Suzette Hase, Mike Higgins, Jackie Hilton, Jacqui Huet
SS1 Jeremy Macon, Celia Scott Warren
SS2 Kevin Lewis, Tracey Vallois
SM David Richardson
SP Collin Egre

I am not good at guessing but here is St Lawrence I hope Hugh Gill gets selected. He is always fair and never bullies people. He Listens a lot so I think he could be a man of action. We'll see.

Strange juxtaposition!

And what is "a man of action" (as opposed to a plastic toy figure)?

It makes me think of Michael Heseltine grabbing the mace in Parliament and waving it about! Or Michael Heseltine dressed in Army camouflage outfit getting photos taken while standing up in the top of a tank. Or John Prescott (to apply political balance) punching a voter.

It all depends on who he is listening to of course.

Listen to the wrong people and your actions will be wrong.

Hugh Gill listening and caring for people with his Parish work and being active about it is all I meant.
I think that this is a voteworthy thing. I would hope you think so too.
Were you referring to Michael Hestletine?

Evening.

I called St Mary wrong, it was just a complete guess on my part. Well done Daniel!

As you can imagine, am on the edge of my seat for St Helier No 3.
