Hi Angela,
You're new to us all down in the village, never heard of you before last week! May we have a peek at your maifesto please?

Actually Spurt'un, Sauceboat spelled it differently you doughnut!  Now fix that livid combover matey, "Maifesto" as opposed to "mafeisto" which should no doubt read "manifesto"!! If you shoved the "n" in where it was missing, 'cept in your case, the word corrected would read "manfiesto"! Bit of a Freudian scare old sock, be more careful in future!  ;)

I hung out at the States yesterday. What a shambles it is. If you've never been I suggest you go. Just be prepared to never vote again. The way they behave is truly appalling. The one that caught my eye was Angela Jeune. She was snarling and pulling faces and intimidating other members. The boy Tadier has the misfortune to sit next to this pernicious creature. Every time he got up to say something she faked outgrage Tel boy Le Main style. Aside from making herself look petty and small minded it was rather like watching a playground bully trying to intimidate a younger kid. Whilst on crystal meth.

If you live in St. Brelade, are interested in local politics and voted for this woman at the last election I suggest you take a Tuesday morning off sometime between now and the next deputies elections. I can promise you that once you've witnessed this woman in action you will never vote for her again. Oh and she didn't stand up to say anything. In fact the only time she did was to get up and leave for about an hour. I figured she popped into town to post a letter in the central market - and so missed an absolutely cronic debate on its impending closure.

Oh and the governor - he's a right laugh. Bob Hill asked a question about the cellars at HDLG. I thought Ridgeway was going to shit himself with fury. The look on his face was a combination of sheer hatred and total dismay. Great job he's got though. Just sits there saying nothing and pulling faces. Like a old pub lag who cant get served.

Why are paying for these people?

Well said Spartacus. I recounted my 'l'experience de Juene' to a mate in the pub last night. He said 'oh yer I know her, she's one of the 'do you know who I am' brigade. And so its all starting to make sense. A simple pre-requiste for becoming a political candidate is a large dose of hubris and a warped perception of ones ability to affect positive change combined with the worst possible human condition - that of being a mouth breather. Welcome to Jersey. 20% off for those with a low IQ's.

And while I'm at it - Ben Fox - he was asleep for almost the entire morning sitting! WTF? And there was a a packed public gallery to witness it! I mean the guy really really doesn't give a monkeys.  I suppose one could argue that at least he was there. Unlike the COM who seem to treat the chamber and somwhere to park up briefly when your not sipping coffee, reading email's on the blackberry or passing notes around with jokes about Dan Wimberly's toe nails.

Tadier is trying to be funny and someone should tell him he is not funny at all but is being really stupid and i should think he will only have one term in the house. He makes a fool of himself every time he  tries to be intelligently insulting someone. He seems to have a big chip on his shoulders about something. He did very well indeed to get elected but he is throwing it all away. As for Deputy Jeune she is polite and makes her point in a very easy and plain way all to understand and does not try to be funny but takes her position very seriously in the house. She does not behave like a spoiled little brat trying to be funny. After his sleepin he had shot himself right there.

She wasn't polite at all when I saw her. She reminded me of an old pigeon on speed. (Hey Mikey! How's tricks? Hear on the grappa vine your gonna stand in the by-election. WTF are you thinking man? Can't wait for that. Town Hall 2. Bring it on - ding dong!

If she was polite she would at least let the boy Tadier speak without tutting and hissing even before he's switched his mic on. If she was polite and intelligent she would, through the chair, ask for permission to speak and carefully demolish his arguments. If she was polite then maybe she wouldn't have a reputation as one the 'dont you know who I am' brigade.

Two sides to every coin Chev sure - but I reckon if the people of St. Brelade can elect Mike Vibert then maybe I'll just this once agree with something Syvret often says - 'you get the government you deserve'.

Dude, I don't think that the everyday bicycle made for an everyday man can squeak as far as the hustings!
Sure the ole Pigeon is still huffin an puffin along in those slippers showin' Danny's toenails out the mouseyholes but I'm afraid that if he tries it, the journey to the dispensary might be a longer one!

never heard of the woman.

Or from her for that matter. Currently serving time in the big house but under suspicion of being lobby fodder.
