I know there are some afternoons at the cafe at Communicare for elderly people to go along. No sherries, I fear.

Under John Le Page as Warden the elderly were not neglected; he would be out and about in cold weather, delivering blankets, soup etc, and keeping in touch. Perhaps you should contact them and find out if anyone there can be proactive in responding to the needs of the elderly.

I know John Le Page is now in England, but I am sure he has a contact address. It might be worth finding out how if he kept any register of the elderly and vulnerable to check up on.

Regarding young people and trouble in the Parish - what about looking to give them some facilities to do some kind of show at Communicare/Les Quennevais, which would involve a lot of different kinds of work, give them motivation, a place to go, and involve good numbers - and could also involve some of the elderly as well, thus mixing generations. They could also do fund raising, but perhaps have some grant from the Parish budget.

You are on to a very important point there Tony - the stratification of the age segments of society. I'm very much in favour of activities, events and organisations that work effectively to mix age groups.

Sean

Deputy Power,

This is indeed good news. I take it by the way you state that you are doing something about this with Montfort, that he is following your lead in the matter?

NO.

I am not going to lead Montfort. He is his own man. I will talk to him about this.

Deputy Power,

Thank you for clearing that up. I though it was the case.

Hey Sean, nice photo of you in tonight's JEP along (page 25 bottom right). The boys in the back row seemed to be, er, 'enjoying' themselves. May I ask did Sarah Ferguson swim fully clothed or did she get changed for the photo?

Rico,

If I had a fiver for every person that has asked me this question, I would be a wealthy man. Let's put it this way, I am enjoying the entertainment that this bunfight is causing and is going to cause right up to election night on the 16th.  All you bloggers will be workng yourselves into a state of near exhaustion over the next few weeks. Now your question is will I be part of the entertainment or will I be entertained ?  I think I am enjoying the entertainment too much !!

Hi Sean

Yup I think you are spot on lol

I will be giving stuart my support and vote during this by-election and whatever the outcome I will not be taking my off the real issue and that is the cover up of child abuse and the farcical suspension of graham power, and that i can assure you is not going away.

ILM has about 5 or 6 states sitting to save his reputation and that of David Warcup and others

Some laugh at that

As we both know Sean its coming

Rico,

The whole planet knows you support Stuart.
In my opinion, the strongest candidate of those declared will be Francis Le Gresley, a man of impeccable character and integrity.
It would make no sense for anyone to question or attack this man.

i like mr le gresley, he see the the down trodden and very unfortunate cases on a daily basis.
would he be a champion of the poor, or a lone voice battling agaist those who could not care less.

Hi Sean

" It would make no sense for anyone to question or attack this man"

Thats just what we need lets not question him and just give him the job.

Would he make a good politician, look how ILM has struggled with becoming a politician. Francis le Gresley must not be attacked but questioned he surly must be
