Dylan
« on: October 16, 2008, 03:17:17 PM »

Who is Dylan ? Does he or she live in St. Brelade ? Is he or she willing to say where ? Can we have a name ?  Track record  ? Is there a St. Brelade Vingtaine ?

Or will it be anonymity until the end of the elections ?

I know where you are coming from Sean,

Dylan seems to be "in my opinion " one very bored trout.

will write very silly one liners for days.

Then all of a sudden come up with something amazingly clever, something really intelligent deep and interesting.

Guess you have to go with the flow maybe its his or her husband brought in to add the clever stuff.

The good news is, Dylan me and all....... can still offer their thoughts and cares on here. If you don't like the post. Don't bother to respond.

I don't. but there is normally plenty of other good stuff to read and learn from.

Do you think Dylan could be a spin doctor employed by Big Frank he / she seems to be on all times of the day. Get people really bored then add a good bit to just as  a smoke screen to slowly bring the site down ?

Who knows ? frankly who cares, if its not for you, debate with the others.

Dylan is obviously a woman, as Dylan gave herself away when she came to Sarah Fergusons defence, she even punches like a woman!  ;D

But in this, has more guts than some men I know...

Good for you Dylan!  ;D

Dylan?

Nope fellas - as I warned you before "Y'all wrong!"

I'm just the same as any other guys, referred to the wife with the big stick before, only 2 person on PJ knows me, I'm in business and have never stood for anything in my life. I'm a free thinking radical who'se been here a long time with a shed load of friends and a hatred of bullies and people who mess with the locals for their own purpose. I reckon the Paddy's got the sweats because I am also a mine of information. I would hate to see PJ go down as it is the greatest interactive elicitor of opinion this Island has ever had, like a huge breath of fresh air from which no issue can hide ( something of a disease in Jersey eh Sean, you never did answer the question on what you do in Ireland and France??) So hang onto your seats as the PJ reality show goes on. :D

Well that was the answer I was looking for so the debate is over as far as I'm concerned.

I think PJ should be open to anybody regardless of their interests or writing style. Diversity is the key to interesting discussion boards and I've got to say I've enjoyed Dylan's posts immensely.

Like Boatyboy said, if you don't like it don't read it. It's easy.

Good Morning,

I don't do anything in Ireland or France. I have no interests in Ireland or France apart from some family and friends in Ireland.

And you didn't answer my question.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the support. Yep I do write some trash and yup I do write some interesting stuff and Yes I do write some funnies. I'ts just how different people fascinatingly interpret all 3 in different ways. eg do you know which is which?

BB just glad you liked the Cahulawassee story cos the punch line was the title, and the humour a sideshow.
Raz, you an I both know that the gungho kid was all out and pushy and just had to be boxed - its simple.

Like Von Richtoften, our economy is in its final tailspin after 26 years - how about that for a coincidence?

Are we seriously going to vote people in to the Deputies who only care for themselves and go all out bullying the little people? Because this is not the society I wish to live in and I will fight this all the way. Are we going to continue to allow empire building moneyspenders fritter away our tax revenues endlessly? I don't think so. Are we going to let our older citizens be harried and treated like nobody cares? Maybe we'll be old sometime and might just change our minds. Are we going to be satisfied accepting a Police state as the only solution to all of our problems? I would like to think not.
The reality is that if we HAVE to have certain Politicians, which judging by the way the electorate has performed is the way it works( after all they only get in because they are considered a safe bet against the unknowns) then by harrying them and letting them know how we really feel then perhaps their retractable horns will get wound in a bit and they will take notice. Don't like PO but he did say he was worried and will take note of Public opinion- We'll see.
As with the French foreign Legion, they used to shoot the stragglers so that everyone else got second wind. Those Politicians, who have just witnessed Mike Vibert's (expected) fall from grace, may realise that if they have a genuine political career ahead of them, then they must start to look after the people who put power into their hands and are worthy of it.
Those politicians first and foremost have to prove that they ARE worthy. Which includes honesty in work, public life and at home, in the Parish, they have to prove that they are caring about people of all ages and have their interests at heart, even if it goes beyond some of their own wishes to do so.

Then of course we come to the monster which is the States machine itself. The person we vote in has to be intelligent and forceful enough to understand the beast, stand up and be counted and chain the dragon and teach it to likewise care for us. Until that happens PJ will rock on from strength to strength.

Sean

First thing is under another blog on PJ, you referred to home as Limerick, I sais I thought your home was St Helier and you replied that you had stuff going on in France and Ireland.
One of your statements is therefore not true. Which one?

Secondly, you didn't ask a question. You started your interrogative with a preposition which nullifies the query into a statement of query. If you have a question just ask.

Dylan,

I was born in Limerick. My home is St. Brelade. I work in St. Helier in the States Building, South Hill, RJAHS, Morier House and many many other buildings in St. Helier. I keep suits, shoes, shirts, socks and underwear in another building where I have use of the shower.  I store papers and have lockers there.

Next ?????

Hi,

I do not know where Linda is coming from. I voted against GST and that is a matter of record. Do you want proof ?

Linda may be confused in all the different votes on GST and GST exemptions. I voted against GST and GST exemptions. See:  http://www.statesassembly.gov.je/

With exemptions, we would grow a UK VAT look a like monster.  I do not want that. GST exemptions would mean an army of more civil servants. Has anyone seen the UK VAT codes and the difference between one example, yogurt and frozen yogurt. Different codes.

I am happy to stand by my votes. I can give anyone the P. numbers in 2006 , 2007 and 2008 to prove my point and my voting record.

Linda Corby referred to me once in a speech of hers in the Royal Square. Again, she was completely wrong.

Shame that she is so wrong and repeats it.
