Do you have any timetable on that Sean?

If Granville is to be a major port, it is about time we looked at sourcing more food, building materials etc from there when it comes on line with much smaller freight charges that from the UK. If it is a busy port, it is important to be ready before it comes online.

We could ship food one way, and materials for recycling the other (if Simon C's proposals work out).

Hi,

I did not mention this at the elections but there is a really serious proposal to run a RO-RO service to Granville sooner rather than later using a clever idea.  More soon.

I think you will find that there is an EU grant in there somewhere.

Granville are also building a new 1500 (I think) berth marina.  Also the TGV will be running from Cherbourg to Paris, stopping at Granville.

One of the reasons that Guy was in Paris was that Senator Le Grand wanted to make an important splash with Paris - presumably to encourage financial support
