As I remember Phil Rondel always used to ask the kind of awkward questions some States members didn't want asking!

He also asked some pretty stupid ones which the public didn't want asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its doubtfull if we will miss the impact of the global economy, is some way quite seriously in the near future. Which brings me the point in such an event
Getting ahead, In some kind of preparation should now become the name of the game. Placing Enviormental issues at the top of the agenda is a must in these uncertain times
Lets hope St Lawrence, along with St Mary's Voters will have the forsight to think for themselves and rest of the Islanders. When they too go to the Polls on voting day. Both parishes each have a valuable new candidate standing in each parish. D. Wimberley. A proven Organizer, and a chairman for Christian Aid. Also N. Palmer both in having the expertise, and  knowledge on serious Envoirmental issures.
Both would be an asset in being States Members, Being the position of bringing the  right propositions into the Assembley should any kind of any emergency arise in the Island, In the event of  the present financial climate changing our circumstances or becoming seriously depleted in the future. we would not need  expensive outside consultants .
