If you want/need to remove high up annoying election posters easily from lamp poles or railings,
 they are normally held in place by plastic tyraps,
 these can be easily cut by taping a plastic stanley knife to a broom handle and jabbing at the tyrap in-between the pole its on. otherwise nail trimmers work fine for easy to reach ones.
