B&Q don't see food though, so it would have to be a daily delivery, like M&S, who like we all know charge 5% more than any other chain and are very expensive anyway.

Until recently I was of the belief that a third supermarket was not needed but with the shabby, sloppy and ignorant service I have been getting from the Sandpiper chain stores like Safeway I have changed my mind. Over the last couple of months I have seen a sharp deteriation in their services
Again and again I am getting charged the wrong price for items and it always seems to be in their favour. Special offers are only special until you get to the till where you are charged the full price
You have to check your receipt all the time and spend valuable time complaining to staff who are badly trained. Even management are sloppy and complacent. Truly amazing what's happening
Best to be avoided as the organisation seems to fall to pieces
Come back C.I, traders - all is forgiven !

I was chatting in the street today to the HR director for the Sandpiper group. He's a great guy but he was super stressed out. He was telling me that they are going through massive upheaval, redundancies, rationalisation of services and businesses within the group. The recession, he told me, has played a big part in this. Maybe a cut back in profits has meant a cut back in wages, moral, and ultimately the quality of front line services and customer support.

I still think Spa wins the prize for worst service. Every time I go in to one of their shops I use that old Del Boy line from Only fools and horses

Ole Razzy - "So when do you graduate?"

Shop assistant in Spa - "Graduate from where?"

Ole Razzy - "Charm School!"
