Freddie Cohen rigged the whole "anti-Semitic" is just more conspiracy theory.

It is a conspiracy theory, agreed. But have you ever met this guy? He's not a very nice man.

In the lead up to the last elections he was making some quite outrageous claims about the things he said he'd done without giving any credit to the people who actually did the work. Freddie contribution was, more often then not, to sit in on meetings while texting Philip Ozouf every two minutes to see if they could get their mugs on the box.

I assure you that the whole Glen Rankine episode was not a fix and there were many witnesses who are nothing to do with either Jeremy or myself and they were livid. You have a right to be suspicious as Freddie Cohen rigged the whole "anti-Semitic" thing during his elections and it's probably hard for people to believe anyone can be honest and up front. I have always tried to be completely up front on this blog - if you choose to castigate me for this then I don't know if it's even worth continuing to try to discuss matters here. When you ask me a question I am not afraid to answer it because I don not have anything to hide. I am not a liar and neither is Jeremy and we are both our own persons. If you knew my family you would know that we are all strong minded people and my children are not afraid to put me in my place when they feel they are right and this is perfectly healthy as I am totally against any form of dictatorship - whether in government or in the home. Jeremy has refused to comment on this forum as he feels you would only try to assassinate him verbally and lately I am beginning to feel the same way.

Thank you to those who have made fair comments - that's all I wanted. It's hard to know what totally independent people are thinking and that's what I wanted to know via this forum plus the opportunity to put forth our views.

I hope you will all remember to vote tomorrow and please encourage everyone you know to come along too as the voting is going to be extremely tight. I believe the winners will be determined by very few votes - so every single vote really does count this time.

Hi Nellie,

I must admit I don't blame Jeremy for not coming on here or some of the other candidates, it would have been good if the forum was used as a place to discuss issues and policies rather than just take the piss out of people who are standing :-\

A lot has been made about you posting about Jeremy, but no one seems to have a problem with Kasper posting on behalf of his father. I don't see a problem with either as at least we get to hear what they both feel about things.

I enjoy having a laugh and a good piss take as much as any one else, but feel that the area for candidates should be used to find out about policies and ask questions not for constantly taking the piss as it gets us nowhere.

Good luck to Jeremy he's got three votes from my household.

I do agree that we could be more serious however 'we' probably have a touch of election fatigue and a little light humour has seeped in

- there again maybe you  jesters ( conspiracy theory ) are all plants ( like Brigit )  and are trying to distract from the minuate of the Senatorial Elections, which are taking place tomorrow, 21 candidates, don't vote for the GST lot, go for CHANGE and then lets start all over again -  :P

Hey now come on - tell me who on PJ doesn't know who they're going to vote for already?

Have the owners of PJ suddenly just taken out some full page adverts in the paper in a last ditch attempt to inform the electorate of the wonderful stuff written on this site?

Do we, with less then 24 hours to go to the polls open, feel as if we need to trawl through the fine details in order to make the perfect selection?

Have a laugh I say because they sure as hell will once they get elected.

I am not voting for Jeremy because of his abilities I am voting for him because a vote for any NEW member is a vote for CHANGE - we must unseat these smug paternalistic politicians and give a resounding message to politicians in this island that the indigenous population matter.

I will not vote for Jeremy this time but I sure admire his guts and courage
For a 21 year old to stand up and be counted takes all that whatever role Nellie may have played
If he is not elected he will have learned more about politics, people (and of course his mum ) than he will have learned at Ogier by the end of his contract
He will be able to stand again in the near future and then I will vote for him

Hey Fritz - ballet dancer ? Have you seen how big I am? I'd be a bit like one of the hippopotomi in Fantasia!

Tonight's JEP shows ballot box in St Martin being sealed. Watchins are the 2 constables and 2 kids by the name of Hannah and Oliver Rankine.. ( 11 & 13 )
Would they be the offspring of the infamous Rankine couple ?
